Not such an easy job on an early 964 but a nice change in feel to the shifter so worth the effort in my opinion. First job, get the old shifter & parts off the car.
Using a combination of existing and new parts the shifter in rebuilt using new bushes and grease.
The chassis in the early car is only setup to accept the round shifter bushes but to do the RS shifter mod you need the oval bushes to relocate the pivot of the shifter, new bush.
