After endless little jobs on the chassis prep I decided it was time to start getting things out of boxes and onto the car. Yes there is still some ‘dirty’ work still to do and I’ll deal with any fallout from that but I needed to feel some job satisfaction and fitting fresh refurbed parts to a clean shell provides that in spades.
Starting at the back, I reassembled and refitted a few engine bay components and brackets, coil and ignitor bracket (powder-coated and plated parts) inc heat sink (anodised black):
Rear fuse panel all cleaned up inside and out, treated and refitted (resisted the urge to re-plate the metal fuel bracket as its hidden in the fusebox!):
Looks quite a bit tidier than how it started.
RS engine mounts with re-plated / black passivate hardware ( *those triangle washers are used on the non RS mounts, RS mounts usually have a round washer):

Oil filter console vapor blasted and fitted with re-plated oil line unions.
Fuel filter mount and fresh fuel filter + breather pipe brackets, much nicer than before.
