Small job but something I wanted to make a start on before any interior work – make some cup floorboard templates. Following the factory cup templates but with a few small tweaks to make them fit a bit more neatly. I’ll also recreate the cup hardware but probably not the unobtainable cup corner bracket – its hidden anyway so will come up with an alternative bracket for that corner. I’ll also fit some closed-cell foam sound deadening under the boards to keep things quiet but not soak up water like the factory foam does.
Not pictured but I have also made a template for a front bonnet base so that the car has a flat surface for storing stuff up front. I’ll get it trimmed in the same carpet used for the rest of the car.
Template for a new drivers side pedal board also made – this will be the factory shape and will reuse all the refurbed and re-plated factory pedal board hardware and stained black.
